I worked with the client on this garden. A lot of existing plants had grown too big, the client cleared out a lot of plants and I provided advice with a plant list and mood boards to enable them to visualise what it would look like. As with most gardens there was the hot sun drenched border and the shady borders, I planted appropriately so they would survive. Deschampsia grass intermingled with Crocosmia giving a very dainty look, we also had late flowering Rudbeckia and Achillea, a wonderful colour combination of yellow and orange red flowers. The back shady border has the striking Astellia Silver spear which went very well with the ferns, Euphorbia and Helleborus to brighten up Spring.
